MacFixIt on Leopard Upgrade October 26, 2007

Some strategies for upgrading to Mac OS X 10.5. I’m probably stopping by the Towson Town Center Apple Store this evening with the twins to pick up a mondo drive (at least 500 GB, if not larger), possibly an Airport Extreme, and the Leopard Family pack. I’d like to upgrade all of our machines this weekend, and have a ‘network’ drive to which we can do regular snapshot backups. I’ve been extremely negligent in that regard, and I need to get it together. Liora’s desktop, in particular, has some critical data on it for Zoetic that should be backed up.
Leopard looks to be pretty cool. I think the Cover-flow integration could be the ‘killer app’ piece of this OS. And Time Machine may completely obsolete backup software on the Mac. Make it easy to use your computer??? Who’d a thunk it!!
