Fox News (among many others) has the scoop on a new book coming out by a couple of Bay Area reporters:

NEW YORK — Barry Bonds used a vast array of performance-enhancing drugs, including steroids and human growth hormone, for at least five seasons beginning in 1998, according to a book written by two San Francisco Chronicle reporters.

Gee.  Really?

If the records are that complete, and apparently BALCO kept extensive records, then it seems like the asterisk after Bonds’ name in any record book is pretty much a given.

Damn.  Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy….
